Integrations connect Jimothy to the apps you already use. Sign in to an app once in Settings → Accounts & integrations, then use the account in three ways:
| Use |
Where |
Example |
| Start runs |
A trigger on the Triggers page |
Every task in your Todoist project #Jimothy starts a run. |
| As a step |
An integration step in a pipeline |
A step creates a Todoist task for a human to review the pull request. |
| After any step |
A step’s After this step section |
When the review step fails, comment on the task with the reviewer’s notes. |

Anything those platforms connect to, through a webhook notification channel |
- Every text field of an action is a template, so it can use the issue, earlier steps’ output and variables:
Review {{issue.key}}: {{steps.pr.output}}.
- An action can return values for later steps, such as the id and link of a task it created, as
{{steps.<id>.data.<field>}}.
- Actions use the signed-in account you pick. Removing an account that a step still uses is refused until you switch those steps to another account.
- Jimothy runs on your computer and calls each app’s API directly. No Jimothy server sits in between.
